December 25 – Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology organized a New Year event for children of KFU staff and students.
Entertainment was organized by the students from the Institute of Philology and Arts and the Department of Physical Education and Sport.
Rector Ilshat Gafurov opened the holiday by wishing health, joy and many presents from Father Frost to the children. The Rector promised enjoyable event to everyone and suggested making it traditional for our University. He noted that at this time of the year we all make ambitious resolutions and we hope that most of them will come true for Kazan Federal University in the coming year of 2013.
The capturing concert introduced the atmosphere of New Year by singing and dancing in colorful costumes. After that, Father Frost and his Granddaughter gathered children in a traditional circle around the New Year tree. Students wished children to have magical and positive childhood experience even when the brightness of holidays is over.
