Delegation from Vietnam at KFU

On November, 27 the delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, Pham Suan Son, visited Kazan Federal University.

The guests got acquainted with the history of the university. They visited the Museum, the Memorial lecture hall and the Assembly hall. Vice-rector on external affairs Linar Latypov and the Head of the Department of the External Affairs Andrey Krylov introduced them the University current affairs.
20 students from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam study in the Kazan University, but KFU does not cooperate with none of the universities from this country. During the conversation it was decided to establish university contacts. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, Pham Suan Son, stated that the purpose of his visit to Tatarstan is to develop the cooperation between Vietnam and our Republic in various fields.
So, the parties discussed the opportunities for study visits, teacher exchange and organization of days of Vietnam in KFU.
Mr. Pham Suan Son was impressed by the history of the Kazan University and the progress that the University reached in recent years. He highly appreciated the level of Russian science in general and achievements of Kazan scientists.
