On November 23 the delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed  by the akim of the East Kazakhstan region Berdybek Saparbayev visited Kazan University. The guest was accompanied by the Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin.
KFU rector Ilshat Gafurov made a brief presentation on the activities of the Federal University, areas of its development, social infrastructure and other information. Akim also visited the Museum of History of Kazan University and Lenin lecture hall. Moreover he signed the Book of honorable guests.
