He said that more than 104 thousand senior citizens completed 36-hour courses of basic IT literacy in 2014 all over Russia. In Tatarstan more than 70 percent of all retirees attended the courses.

More than 40 percent of competitors are still in the active workforce. More than half of them attended IT literacy courses and have 5+ years of experience with everyday PC user tasks.

The contest tasks will include web search, text processor knowledge, MS Power Point, E-government portal knowledge. The E-gov portal of Tatarstan is very good! Really saves much time for you'.

All tasks will be evaluated on a 10-point scale. In the event of a draw the prize will go to the older participant. The closing ceremony will take place today in the Universiade Village.
