Austrian physicist lectures at KFU

Mr. Rudolf Grimm, Director for Research of the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information of the Austrian Academy of Science, and Professor of Experimental Physics of Innsbruck University successfully delivered his lecture at KFU Physics Institute. The lecture was on supercold quantum gases obtained at Prof. Grimm’s lab. According to the guest, one of the main reasons for visiting Kazan University is learning about activities undertaken by Kazan scholars and establishing contacts with them for future joint research. Prof. Grimm highly commended the latest developments at Kazan University and characterized them as impressive.
