KFU IT Lyceum students win silver and bronze at Infomatrix 2015 International IT Project Competition

Infomatrix is an International Informatics Project Competition organized by Lumina Educational Institutions, the Ministry of National Education of Romania and ISMB to encourage young people to apply their imagination, their passion, and their creativity to technology innovations that can make a difference in the world today.

The competition is not just about promoting professional excellence, however; it also serves to promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation, through the involvement of students and teachers from many different countries.

This year, the competition became more international in dimension and scope. KFU IT Lyceum students Aleksey Kozharin, Timur Shafigullin and Daniyar Sadykov were invited to participate thanks to their achievements in automation and personal data privacy. They presented two projects: Smart Parking (Silver) and Global Communication Technology (Bronze).

“Participation in this competition allows our students to master their professional skills and initiated a cultural dialogue between students and teachers from all over the world” noted the Head of the IT Lyceum Timerbulat Samerkhanov.
