Major Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances producer came to

Naberezhnye Chelny to expand its production. However, new office requires 500 employees and Haier plans to train them at KFU Engineering Centre.

This grand event was attended by KFU Rector Ilshat Gafurov, Head of the Executive Committee of  Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, General Manager of OJSC "Haier Rus" Sun Zhenhua  and General Manager of OJSC "KamVent" Pavel Evdokimov.

Ilshat Gafurov was delighted that one of the world major companies entered Naberezhnye Chelny and, thus, joined KFU. There was opened the first classroom - a traditional endeavor for making future cooperation closer. The same undertaking started collaboration with Samsung, however, nowadays our cooperation is stronger. Our students and faculty penetrated into the company program, whereas company started to integrate into the educational system of our University. The same way we cooperate with various world brands. Our University is happy for being chosen as a platform for Haier in organizing its laboratory and production facilities. In this respect, Rector wished success and fast implementation of plans.

Academic Centre Haier will provide training not only for students, but specialists in terms of advanced training in designing, assembling, service and technical maintenance, introduction of new products and prospective Haier models, as well as organize meetings, conferences, seminars covering diverse aspects of climate equipment.

After the official opening, Director of KFU campus in Naberezhnye Chelny and Director of KFU Engineering Centre organized a tour for Mr. Sun Zhenhua in the Engineering Centre and Division for Social and Humanitarian Studies. In particular, they have visited Confucius Centre of Chinese Culture - a place for conducting courses of the Chinese language.
