The sides discussed prospective cooperation on 23rd July.
A new strategy of higher education in Russia places its focus on large-scale cooperation with the industry and territorial development. With that in mind, KFU and NCSPU seek to exchange expertise in teacher education.
“Teacher education is a priority at Kazan Federal University. Many methodologies are unique and can be scaled for the whole country. This experience is very important to us,” noted Alfinur Galiakberova.
She also showed interest in the University School of Yelabuga – a somewhat similar integration project is implemented by NCSPU with Naberezhnye Chelny’s 42nd School.
“Currently, our universities are changing their strategies, and everyone must find their place in this new educational reality. We plan to move forward as an independent pedagogical university. We have the experience and the potential for that. We see our cooperation with Kazan University as very effective,” concluded Ms. Galiakberova.
Rector Gafurov opined that the discussion was productive and the two institutions have promising projects to work on.
