There are a lot of relics of the by-gone days and the present time in every section of the Museum, which are evidence of different epochs and events of Russian history and consequently the history of university. 

Here is the cliche, which was used for printing invitation cards to the ceremony of the final university establishing on July 5, 1814. Not far from it there is a livery - hall-porter's full dress uniform, which he used to put on for meeting the guests. One can see the Gauss' Medal, cast in honor of the great mathematician and sent to N.I.Lobachevsky in 1856. 

There is university badge of a graduate student of 1918 with double-headed eagle, which is covered by red cloth, and a wicker basket of A.Shamov, the student of Workers' Faculty and future famous Tatar writer. He brought it to Kazan when he came to the city to study in the early 1920th. Bag, glasses and badge belonged to A.F.Ioffe, who participated in the VI Congress of Physicists in 1928. One can see the first issue of the University newspaper "On University Building Site" (1928). 

A handful of the ground form Norilsk, where rectorN.-B.Z.Vekslin deceased. His daughter brought it from the place of the former camp of Stalin's period. Turned-yellow letters sent from the front by physicist G. Khamitov and chemist P.Rakov. The Diploma of biologist A.Kolesnikov, a graduate student of 1940, which was shot by shell-splinter. Things belonged to academicians, who worked in Kazan during the great Patriotic War. 

Komsomol assignment to virgin lands of post-graduate student A.Konovalov. Anorak with medal ribbons of construction brigade commander V.Grigoryev. Certificate of Merit given by Komsomol Central Committee of Armenia and helmet with "Leninakan" ins­cription - evidence of selfless labor of students' brigade of rescuers during the earthquake of 1988. 

Helmet and foil of world champion O.Voshchakina, student of Law Faculty and Boxer's glove of twice world champion O.Saitov, student of Journalism Faculty… All mentioned above is the smallest part of the museum collection. In whole there are about 15,000 units of storage.
