An online meeting was organized by Study in Russia office in the country.
The live stream was hosted by Representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in Lebanon Vadim Zaychikov and Counsellor to the Rector of KFU Linar Latypov. Over 100 viewers joined the stream on 24 October.
Dr. Latypov briefly introduced the University, its rankings and priorities. Currently, of the 10 thousand international students here 700 are from Arabic-speaking countries. Some of the current students joined the stream and spoke about their experience in their native language. Local streams were also broadcast from the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology and the Universiade Village, KFU’s largest dorm complex.
Head of the Section for International Student Recruitment Rauf Sabirov commented, “Many Lebanese students choose to go abroad to study. And we offer them opportunities to enroll in Kazan University.”
This year, KFU welcome its first ever Lebanese students – all three of them were admitted to the Preparatory School. Next year, the University plans to increase enrolment from Lebanon to 30 persons.
