A representative of SICK company paid a visit to the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems
On September 09, 2020 the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of KFU was visited by a representative of the company "SICK" Dmitry Melnik to discuss issues of further cooperation. A Head of the LIRS professor Evgeni Magid gave a tour around the laboratory and told about the projects of employees and students of the laboratory.
SICK produces a full range of sensors for automation of production, technological processes and logistics. It has been officially presented on the Russian market since 2004. Founded in 1946 as a small family-owned company, SICK has grown into a major international concern over the course of its existence and functioning. But even today, as a global company, SICK remains a family business, which is reflected in the corporate culture, including the Russian subsidiary.
