LIRS presented a paper at the IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence

From July 19 to July 24 due to the epidemiological situation in the world online were held three flagship conferences of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society under one roof: The 2020 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN 2020); the 2020 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE 2020); and the 2020 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (IEEE CEC 2020).

LIRS employee Aufar Zakiev presented a paper in one of the sections of the International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN 2020) on the topic: “Virtual Experiments on ArUco and AprilTag Systems Comparison for Fiducial Marker Rotation Resistance under Noisy Sensory Data” Authors: A. Zakiev, T. Tsoi, K. Shabalina, E. Magid, S.K. Sakha.

The International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) covers a wide range of topics in the field of neural networks, from biological neural networks to artificial neural computation.

Aufar Zakiev speaks on the conference: “An online conference is a good way to try presenting a paper to researchers from other countries and practice communication skills with them, without leaving the house or office. I have attended only a few conferences and therefore it seems to me that the online format might be a good preparation for novice researchers. This format obliges the organizers to constantly monitor technical issues. The organizers of IJCNN managed to do everything at the highest level. The session was devoted to image processing and I presented a report on the comparison of fiducial marker in a noisy camera sensor. Thanks to LIRS and the organizers of IJCNN for the opportunity to work in such an interesting format."
