Rector Ilshat Gafurov contributed to the plenary meeting on 1st March.
Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, and President of the Russian Academy of Education Yury Zinchenko also presented their views.
In particular, Dr. Gafurov said, “Kazan Federal University, being a classical institution, must provide such an education that its graduates should be able to adapt to a rapidly changing job market. The second important thing is to understand our target audience – whom and for whom do we educate. And third, universities are becoming like holding companies, and we now have our own test production facilities and technology transfer platforms.”
During the forum, the Rector was given a letter of appreciation from the Russian Academy Education. Earlier last week, he had been elected a full member of the Academy.
Later on Friday, Dr. Gafurov accompanied Dr. Zinchenko on a tour of the IT Lyceum and the Institute of Psychology and Education.
