The attendants were greeted by Business Development Manager Alexander Avdeev and Sales and Marketing Director at Intel EMEA Ralph de Wargny.
The central point of the seminar was Technical Engineer Dmitry Sivkov’s presentation. He spoke about Intel’s hardware and software solutions for education, science, and industry.
The event was coordinated with Intel Software Conference 2016 that starts on March 2nd and is devoted to high-performance computing. The company’s employees will talk about coding for yielding maximum efficiency from the latest Intel Xeon processors and Xeon Phi coprocessors.
The guests from Intel also visited the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies; Vice-Rector for Research Danis Nurgaliev showed them what the current KFU’s research potential is.
