On December 3, 2024, the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK) of the Higher School of Economics (HSE) held a round table "Human Resources Potential of Industrial Robotics: Problems and Solutions". Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) and Head of Intelligent Robotics Department Evgeni Magid took part in the round table.
During the event, leading researcher of the Laboratory for Economics of Innovation Yulia Belova and Head of Department of Human Capital Research Natalia Shmatko presented the results of the ISSEK study of the personnel situation and assessment of the technological competencies of engineers in industrial robotics organizations. They noted the reasons for the personnel shortage and the necessary competencies of researchers and engineers today and in the future until 2030.
The round table was attended by Director of the Center for Strategic Analytics and Big Data of the HSE ISSEK Konstantin Vishnevskiy, Director of the International Research and Educational Foresight Center of the ISSEK Alexander Sokolov, Chairman of the Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems Board and Executive Director of Scientific Production Association "Android Technics" Evgeniy Dudorov, as well the Rector Assistant, Head of the Laboratory of Industrial Robotics of the MSTU STANKIN Madin Shereuzhev.
