The laboratory staff presented the project "A group of heterogeneous robots: the development of a path search algorithm in search and rescue conditions" within the framework of final collegium of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On February 9th at 10.00 a meeting of the joint final collegium of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan took place at the KSC of KFU "UNICS" building with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The topic of the meeting was "Innovative development of enterprises is the basis for increasing the competitiveness of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan". Prior to the beginning of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov and his entourage learned more about the exposition of industrial enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, which was presented in the hall of the KSC "UNICS".
Industrial projects of KFU, developed by the University in collaboration with enterprises of Tatarstan and Russia, were presented at the exhibition. Many institutes and faculties of the KFU took part in the exposition: The Alexander Butlerov Institute of Chemistry, Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, Institute of Physics and others.
The developments of the Higher Insitute of ITIS were also presented at the exposition. Professor Evgeni Magid, a Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department and Roman Lavrenov, Research Associate of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS), talked about the modeling and development of algorithms for the Russian robot "Engineer". The research is carried out within the framework of the project "Localization, mapping and searching for a path for an unmanned ground robot (UGR) with the help of a group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) using active collective technical vision and planning in the common trust area of a group of robots". The research is implemented with the participation of the scientific group of the ANPL laboratory of the Aerospace Technologies Department of the Israeli Technion University under the guidance of Professor Vadim Indelman and with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (project №15-57-06010 MNTI_a) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Space of Israel. Potential users of the developments -are the Ministry of Emergency Situations, fire services and, national security.
