The forum, spanning 2nd – 4th September, comprises three international expos and five conferences.
The honor to open the 8th International Conference on Geodesy and Geoinformation Systems was bestowed on KFU’s Vice-Rector for Research Danis Nurgaliev. This particular conference’s second day will be held at KFU.
This year, 180 Russian and 23 overseas companies have arrived to the Forum. The University, among other things, always presents its advanced education programs in oil and gas business. One of the visitors of the Forum in 2017 was so impressed by the presentation that he decided to enroll in KFU. The student, Dmitry Kovalyov, who graduated recently, shared his takeaways from the experience, “I want to thank KFU employees for their organizational efforts; the studies were distance-based but contained many interactive components, such as video lectures and presentations. It was very accessible and interesting. As an educator myself – I work at Smolensk State University – I can say that this type of delivery is a great illustrative material and simplifies the comprehension of difficult topics.”
