Gulnara Raifovna Shaykhutdinova  -  Doctor of juridical science, Master  of Laws, Professor of the Chamber of International and European Law of Kazan (Volga Region) federal university.  Her major research and pedagogical  interests are: Public International Law, European Law, Human Rights Law.

She has participated in the following foreign scientific research programs: The Hague Academy of International Law (The Netherlands, 1990), Max Plank Institute (Heidelberg,  Germany, 1989), School of Law of Northwestern University (Chicago, ILL, USA , 1993-1994), Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University (Boston, USA, 1995), McArthur Foundation (1999 and 2002), Asser Institute (The Hague, The Netherlands, 2002),  Kennan Institute (Washington, DC., USA, 2003), Faculty of Law of the University of Helsinki (Finland, 2013).

In 1994-1995 she served as an Adviser on international affairs to the Vice-

President of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation).

In 1995-2001 she served as an Adviser on international affairs to the Vice-

Chairman of Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation).

Member of the Central Board of the Russian United Nations Association (2011) and member of the Russian United Nations Association (1990); Member of the Russian Association of International Law (1988); Member of Editorial Board of Kazan Journal of International Law (2007); Member of Editorial Board of Journal “TISBI Herald” (2005).
