The University has various student organizations, such as the KFU Union of Students and Postgraduates, the Association of International Students of KFU (AIS KFU), the Kazan Yulbars Sports Club, vocal and dance groups. Traditional events such as "Freshman Day", "Mosaic of the World's Nations", "Student of the Year", "Africa Day", "Student Spring", "Miss University", sports competitions and many other events are held annually. Students participate not only in university but also in city, republican, international contests and competitions and proudly represent the title of a student of Kazan Federal University and win prizes.
