Аннотация

В статье рассмотрена хронокультурная эволюция периода неолита на территории Северо-Западной Африки. На основе на данных из литературы, которая посвящена теме хронокультурных особенностей этого периода в Сахаре и Магрибе, дана систематическая хронология каждой из трех неолитических традиций, представляющих период неолита в Северо-Западной Африке – сахарско-суданский неолит, неолит капсийской традиции и средиземноморский неолит. Проведено согласование данных о культурных традициях с известными радиоуглеродными датами для определения глобальной хронологии неолита трех основных традиций. Полученные результаты показывают эволюционные особенности от процесса неолитизации до полного установления неолитической экономики производства и возможной преемственности в фазу финального неолита, который еще продолжался в некоторых регионах, в то время как другие районы перешли к энеолиту и железному веку. Отмечено почти полное совпадение эволюционного пути, который определил характер раннего, среднего, позднего и финального неолита в северо-западной части африканского континента.
