Within the framework of the direction, teachers of history and social studies are trained in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Standard of Higher Education and the Professional Standard of a teacher.

The main disciplines studied within the framework of the educational program 44.03.05 Teacher Education (with two profiles of training), profile: «History and Social Studies»: the history of Russia from ancient times to the end of the XVIII century., the history of Russia of the XIX century., the history of Russia of the XX - beginning of the XXI century., the history of Tatarstan, the history of the ancient world, the history of the Middle Ages, the new history of Europe and America, the recent history of Europe and America, the new and recent history of Asia and Africa, cultural studies, political science, sociology.

Psychological, teacher and methodological training of future teachers is carried out within the framework of the following main modules: "Communication in professional interaction", "Psychology of education", "Pedagogy", "Fundamentals of leadership activity". The main educational program, in addition to the main and additional disciplines, includes various types of practices and research activities, which allows them to participate in various conferences, seminars, publish articles and receive scholarships and grants.
