Abstract

This paper commemorates the life and work of L.A. Aksent'ev (1932–2020), the late professor of Kazan University. He was a brilliant mathematician, lecturer, and educator. L.A. Aksent'ev initiated the establishment of the well-known Russian Mathematical School of Complex Analysis. Over the years of the School's existence, its representatives have defended 31 candidate and 8 doctoral dissertations. Our research pathways are also associated with the School's activity.
