The Special (Military Accounting) Department carries out military accounting of students and employees of Elabuga Institute of KFU, training students for military service, exemption of citizens in reserve from active service and providing deferments from military service for mobilization and in wartime, as well as interaction with Departments of the Military Commissariat of the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of the Russian Federation.

The activities of the department are carried out in accordance with the Federal Law "On Military Duty and Military Service" dated March 28, 1998. No. 53-FZ.

Department functions:

-organizes and maintains military records of studying citizens and citizens staying in reserve;

-prepares documents for granting deferrals from conscription for active military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to citizens of military age - students, graduate students, employees;

-provides reservations for citizens staying in reserve for the period of mobilization and for wartime;

-provides, in accordance with the established procedure, information about the military credentials of citizens, in accordance with the requests of military commissariats, as well as the necessary information when hiring them, studying, as well as when expelling students and dismissing employees from Elabuga Institute of KFU;

-organization of mobilization work at the university;

-carrying out measures for the military-patriotic education of citizens subject to conscription into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
