Abstract
The legislations of the Republic of Yemen and Russian Federation that regulate the criminal liability for specific crimes against the rights of juveniles have been studied. The problems of allocation of crimes in the special part of the Criminal Codes of the Republic of Yemen and Russian Federation according to the object of criminal violation, material and formal sources of criminal law, role of the Constitution and universal principles of the international law in criminal law system have been considered. The criteria for classification of crimes against children's rights into different groups and their general characteristics have been singled out. In this research, the rights and obligations of parents in the two countries under study have been compared. Their relations with children associated with care, material support and upbringing have been analyzed. Furthermore, the doctrinal problems of the criminal law of the Russian Federation and Republic of Yemen have been investigated. The research is based on the comparative analysis of similar legal definitions used in the legal systems of the Republic of Yemen and Russian Federation.
