The article highlights the socio-political movement of Tatars in Central Asia in the early 20th century. The research has revealed more than 36 different socio-political organizations, functioning in the cities of Tashkent, Andizhan, Samarkand, Fergana, etc. in Central Asia (the territory of the modern Republic of Uzbekistan). After the February Revolution of 1917, the Tatar socio-political movement rose to a new level: Tatar print media began developing in the Region, and Kurultay (National Congress) was convened on the initiative of Tatar central authorities. However, the independent Tatar socio-political movement was abolished with the establishment of the Soviet regime.
