“Practical and theoretical aspects of geological interpretation of gravitational, magnetic and electrical fields”
Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University invite you to participate in the 45-th Uspensky International Geophysical Seminar 2018 “Practical and theoretical aspects of geological interpretation of gravitational, magnetic and electrical fields”. The Seminar will be held from 12 to 16 March 2018 in Kazan, Russian Federation.
We invite researchers to submit abstracts via our abstract submission portal. We also welcome proposals for short courses and workshops associated with the conference. The Scientific Committee, composed of distinguished experts, will ensure a high technical level for the presentations at the conference.
About
The International Uspensky seminar has been held almost annually since 1971. The founder of the seminar was prof. D.G. Uspensky, but already in the late 1970s, its leader was academician V.N. Strakhov. The seminar is currently the main forum in the field of theory and practice of interpretation of potential fields. Scientists and specialists in geophysics from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan took part in the seminar, scientists from Germany, France, Finland and other countries joined them in recent years.
At the seminar reports are presented on topical problems and modern achievements in the field of studying the geological structure, the history of development and modern dynamics, the search and exploration of mineral deposits based on data on the anomalies of gravitational, magnetic and electric fields.
