The article contains reflections on the results of the theatre festival in honour of the 80th anniversary of T.Minnullin. The analysis of iconic pieces of the playwright reveals specific features of the stage interpretation of the works by contemporary production makers. The article also provides characterization of the writer’s paradigm of creativity, a detailed analysis of the artistic world of the playwright, the playwright’s contribution to the development of the Tatar national world image and of the Tatar national character. Particular attention is paid to the specific features of the genre in the works of T.Minnullin.
