The area of fundamental research conducted in the laboratory are rather wide it is the development of mathematical models of basic manipulation to implement virtual open surgical procedures, and the development of feedback tools means for upper immersive virtual environments, and the development of innovative approaches to the rehabilitation of neurological patients and the development of a numerical model of the morphology of realistic neural hippocampal network.
In the process, these studies should be embodied in the following applications: a complex of highly realistic virtual simulators open surgery, rehabilitation complex simulators with sensor-range finders or processing of video data, as well as for complex imaging of bioelectrical activity of the growing brain structures.
Also in the laboratory research stage of the project is the creation of a personalized digital anatomical and physiological 3D model of the patient, which should provide clinicians a new form of presentation of information on the status and features of the patient's internal organs on the basis of dynamic mapping processes in tissues in the anatomically correct shape of the structures under study.
