The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the 16th International Seminar on Inclusion Compounds (ISIC-16) and 3rd Youth School on Supramolecular and Coordination Chemistry, which will be held in Kazan (Russia), June 26-30, 2017. The main objective of ISIC-16 is to present the frontiers of supramolecular chemistry based on inclusion phenomena. In addition, it will be a seminar to bring together both young and experienced scientists from across the world for a fruitful discussion at all levels. The program will feature several talk formats including a number of presentation opportunities for younger scientists.

LOCATION AND TIME

The Seminar is organized by Kazan Federal University, A.E.Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry (Kazan, Russia), Russian Science Foundation, Russian Foundation for Basic Research in collaboration with Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society. Grand Hotel Kazan (Kazan, Petersburg str., 1) is selected as the conference venue for providing under-one-roof concept. Arrival day is June 25, 2017. The scientific program will start on Monday, June 26, 2017 and the last scientific session is preliminary scheduled on Friday, June 30, 2017.

Kazan is the capital of Tatarstan Republic and is situated in the European part of Russia on the Volga River. City is within 800 km to east from Moscow. Kazan is one of the oldest university’s cities and large scientific and cultural center of the Russia. This place is associated with the beginning of Russian organic chemistry and the names of outstanding chemists such as K.K.Klaus, N.N.Zinin, A.M.Butlerov, V.V.Markovnikov, A.M.Zajtsev, A.E.Arbuzov, B.A.Arbuzov. The spirit of chemistry of last centuries is carefully preserved in the museum of chemistry at the A.M.Butlerov Chemical Institute of Kazan State University.
