The center for occupational retraining and advanced training was established in 1994 within the accounting department of the Kazan State Institute of Finance and Economics and is one of the leading centers of that type in Russia. The center is always working at the cutting edge of all innovations in accounting and audit. The center is accredited by the Institute of Certified Financial Managers and is under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent.   The center offers its students a wide range of programs depending on their qualification.
