Simulation training is when medical manipulations are conducted on mannequins of human patients. The main task of the Medical Simulation Center is to develop practical and manual skills in students. Its main advantage in comparison with the traditional system of medical training remains in the development of certain skills and exercises, as well as in providing a reasonable assessment of emergency aid quality based on the results obtained during the training.

The number of training attempts and their duration are unlimited. In addition, the variety of clinical scenarios, including modelling of rare clinical cases, allows decreasing stress level in young specialists during their first experience on real patients. 

The Department provides emergency aid and simulation medicine trainings in the following areas:

1. Emergency Aid - provided for all KFU students within Life Safety course.
2. Catastrophe Medicine – provided for students enrolled in General Medicine and Dentistry
3. Pre-hospital Emergency Aid - provided for students enrolled in General Medicine and Dentistry
4. First Aid in Traffic Emergencies
