The symposium will take place in the Institute of Physics, Kazan Federal University

Russian Federation, Kazan, Kremlevskaya st., 16a.

The symposium will be devoted to discussion of physical, physico-chemical and biomedical development of magnetic resonance methods (EPR, NMR), including MRI and its practical application in chemical structure, features of organic and bioorganic materials.

Diversified scientific program is due to appearance in Russia new integrated centers in Universities and Research Institutes (Centers of Magnetic Resonance) in which all magnetic resonance methods are present, often implemented on a single multi-purpose spectrometer (MRI scanner). For example at such system as AVANCE 400 spectrometer (Bruker) with a wide gap of the magnet (and its analogues from other manufacturers) which can realize high resolution NMR techniques, including solid state and diffusion microtomography.

The conference program will include a review reports about the development in structural research, intra - and intermolecular dynamics of a large class of inorganic, organic, bioorganic, organometallic compounds and complexes in solution, the mesophase and solid state methods of magnetic resonance (MR). There will be also presentations about the development of MR imaging and its applications in materials science and biomedical research. The conference will include breakout sessions with oral and poster presentations.

Two main sections planned to be:  "Molecular Structure and Dynamics" (experimental and theoretical research)  and "New experimental approaches in NMR, EPR and MRI and their application".

It is also planned to organize a round table on the theme "Networking of laboratories (centers) of the magnetic resonance in Russia."

There will be reports and mini-exhibition of companies - manufacturers of scientific equipment, such as Bruker and Element (the official representative of the Jeol company).

Estimated number of participants 100-120 people, representing the main research groups in Russia, CIS and foreign countries.

Working languages - Russian and English.

Accepted oral and poster presentations.

Duration of the review report at the plenary session - 30-40 minutes, an oral report on the breakout session - 15-20 minutes (including questions).

It is recommended to warn about the duration of the report.

The poster format - A0. Texts of abstracts, oral reports and posters are accepted both in Russian and English languages.

Planned publication of abstracts.

Registration will be "online" until 21 March 2016 at the Conference website http://kpfu.ru/science/konferencii/magnitnyj-rezonans-ot-fundamentalnyh-issledovanij.
