Nigmatov Zamil Gazizovich

Rector of Kazan State Teachers Training University (Tatar State University of Humanities and Education) in 2003-2008.

Graduated from Kazan Teachers Training Institute (1968) and Moscow State Teachers Training Institute (1974 “Mathematics in English”), D.Sc. in Pedagogics, Professor at Methodology and Education Department of Psychology and Education Institute of KFU.

Since 1990 Prof. Nigmatov has been the Chairman of Dissertation Council for theses defense on general pedagogics, history of pedagogics and education, theory and methodic of education.

For his extraordinary contribution into human resources development of the nation he was included in “Best people of Russia” list.

Under his supervision the Museum of Pedagogical Education History was opened in 2003.

Zakiev Mirfatykh Zakievich

D.Sc. in Philology, Professor, a member of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, full member and member of general committee of Russian Academy of Linguistic Sciences, honorary member of Ataturk Turkic Scientific Linguistic Institute, honorary professor of TSUHE, honorary president of Tatarstan Orientalist Scientific Community,  presidium member of World Association of Turkologists.

Kazan State Teachers Training Institute Rector (1967- 1986).

In 1951 he graduated from Kazan University, then in 1954 – he defended his candidate thesis, in 1963 – doctoral dissertation. In Prof. Zakiev was appointed as the Head of the Tatar language Department.

He was awarded Order of the Red Banner of Labour, won the 1st prize among 250 pedagogic educational institutions in USSR in 1987, and his teacher training practice was recommended to European Pedagogic Institutions.

In 1976 with 100th anniversary of the Kazan Teachers Training Institute under his supervision the Institute’s Museum of the History was opened.

Today, he is a professor of General Linguistics Department at the Institute of Philology and Cross-Cultural Communication.

Khanbikov Yakub Iskhakovich

D.Sc. in Pedagogics, Professor at Kazan State Teachers Training institute, (KSTTU, TSUHE), Honoured Scientist of Tatarstan Republic, Honorary Worker of higher professional education in Russia, K. Nasyry award winner.

In 1998 he was elected as a full member of International Pedagogic Academy.

Valeeva Roza Alekseevna

D.Sc. in pedagogics, professor, head of the General and Social Pedagogics Department at KFU Institute Psychology and Education. Honoured Scientist of Tatarstan Republic, Honorary Worker of higher professional education in Russia.

She has been the Head of the Psychology Department of TSUHE for 9 years.

She is a president of Russian community named after Y. Korchak, which main aim is to outspread humanistic pedagogical ideas to the educational practice.
