UNIVER Media Center provides coverage for the University's activities and promotes the University through its newspapers «Kazan University» (Russian), “Darelfonyn” (Tatar) and student TV station UNIVERSMOTRI.RU.

The student TV station serves as the practice ground for the KFU's TV and electronic media students.

The station is equipped with high-end TV tech and is the best student TV practice ground in Russia.

The curriculum of the Department of Television of KFU allows students to acquire necessary expertise in all professional fields – from camerawork to strategic media management.

During their 4 – 6 years in the University our students amass a sizable portfolio of professional work which makes anyone of them a welcome addition to any media company's staff.

The student television consists of the news office (UniverNews), UniverProduction crew and editors' offices.

News bulletins are broadcast every workday, 5 times a week. Everything is made by students themselves.

UniverNews crew have their own ASB41 studio with the ability to mix up 4 video streams. This is a real news factory with its own top-notch technology.

UniverProduction is in charge of recording, post-production, and tech support. It broadcasts livestreams from all the significant activities. Livestreams can be mixed from up to 6 cameras and can also utilize a 6-meter-high crane.
