The course of "Numerical methods and mathematical modeling" includes:

• Numerical integration
• Numerical differentiation
• Runge's rule for practical error estimation and adaptive calculations
• Numerical stability
• Methods of solutions of the Cauchy problem for ordinary differential equations and their practical realization
• Numerical methods of linear algebra: inverse matrix
• Extremum searching algorithms
• Discrete Fourier transform and fast Fourier transform 
• Partial differential equations on example of the heat transfer equation. Spectral method for stability analysis.
