Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Elementary Educational traces its history back to the establishment of the Faculty of Education at Kazan State Pedagogical University in 2002.
Department provides future elementary school teachers with comprehensive knowledge in Psychology, Pedagogy, Methodology, Philology, Mathematics and Computer Science. Striking feature of theoretical and practical training of students is determined by the universal nature of the profession of elementary school teachers.
More than 60% of graduates annually start professional activities in schools in Kazan and Tatarstan. Moreover, graduates successfully work in higher educational institutions, city and district departments of education, institutions of further education and pre-school institutions.
