The Tatar Folklore Classroom was opened in November 2010 at Gabdulla Tukai Division of Tatar Philology and Intercultural Communication. It is dedicated to the Tatar folklore, national customs and traditions, history of Tatar folklore studies and the activities of well-known folklorists.

The main goal is to familiarize students and other visitors with the oral folk art of the Tatar people, its genres and thematic richness; the activities of well-known folklorists, writers and poets who have made a particular contribution to the study of the Tatar folklore; enrich students' knowledge in the field of folklore studies using visual materials and rich field data collected by students in previous years; facilitate the deep understanding of the role and importance of the spiritual heritage of local population.
