The Center was opened on April 24, 2010 at the Gabdulla Tukai Division of Tatar Philology and Intercultural Communication. It is dedicated to the biography and creative work of the great poet. Here G. Tukai's works are presented within the context of the Tatar, Russian, Western European, and Oriental literatures and cultures.
The main goal of the Center is to familiarize students and other visitors with the personality of the poet, the story of his life and creative work, to give visual information through concrete facts about the most important literary and cultural traditions that influenced the formation of G. Tukai as a poet, and to help students in their perception of the great Tatar poet's creativity.
