The lab was established in 2014 to solve practical problems of stratigraphy in oil search for geological services and companies. Cutting-edge methods of lito-, bio-, chemo-, and magnetostratigraphy as well as methods of precision radiometric chronology. Master and post-doctoral programs are conducted in cooperation with the Institute of Geology, Technical University, Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany.
