Authors are invited to submit articles to the Editorial Board in standard LaTeX format (LaTeX 2e) or in the Microsoft Word (MSWord for Windows) format. Submissions to MRSej may consist of a single LaTeX (Word) file or a combination of several LaTeX files, like graphics files, auxiliary LaTeX files, etc. All submissions must utilize an MRSej template to specify bibliographic and other information (See submission rules).

Each manus­cript (including title, author(s), address(es), abstract, PACS, keywords, equations, tables, figures and references) is (are) prepared by the author(s) and submitted to the Editorial Board via Internet, preferably in LaTeX format with separated PostS­cript graphics (see below for specific details) or MSWord format (see below for specific details). The authors should complete a Submission Template: title; author(s) name, address and Email address; abstract (not more than 200 words); PACS numbers; keywords (optional); support (optional), etc. The completed Submission Template with attachmentcontaining the manus­cript files must be sent to the Editorial Office by e-mail submit@mrsej.ksu.ru .

If the paper is accepted for publications in the MRSej, two cover pages of each article is added in final form by the MRSej Editorial Office The Editorial Office will add the MRSej volume and article numbers, dates received, revised and accepted, and the MRSej LogoType. The body of the article including the title; author(s) name, address and E-mail address; abstract (not more than 200 words); PACS numbers; keywords (optional); support (optional); main text with equations, tables, figures and references starts at the top of the third page. The paper will be sent to all subscribers by e-mail immediately after publication of the article.

LaTeX2e IS THE PREFERRED FORMAT, and its use will facilitate consideration of an article. Only standard TeX fonts should be used, namely Computer Modern, AMSFonts (optionally), and LaTeX symbol fonts. PostS­cript graphics in EPS (Encapsulated PostS­cript) format may be included, and they should be sent as separate files. The macro package graphicx may be used for inclusion of EPS graphics, but Psfig or EPSF are also allowable. As exception articles may be submitted in Microsoft Word format (see below for specific details). Authors who intend to submit a manus­cript in a different format should consult the Executive Editor ( Editor@ksu.ru) before submission. 
A style file (mrsej.cls) is available from the journal and its use during preparation of articles is strictly encouraged. The some things keep in mind.

• Authors should use the MRSej article class of LaTeX  for preparing manus­cripts (mrsej.cls).
• There is the template file in the pdf format with Editor's remarks. It was compiled from template_mrs.tex, five figures in the eps format (they are archived by zip procedure: template_5figs.zip), the bib file with references (bib_example.bib), and the style BibTeX file (apsrev_mod.bst). The complete list LaTeX template files can be downloaded in the zip archive file (mrsej_LaTeX.zip)
• Authors should note that the base font size is 11 point. Please avoid use of elements which depend on another base font size.
• Also avoid any absolute moves such as `\vskip 10 pt' as the journal's pagination may differ from yours. As a general rule less formatting is better.
• Articles must include an Abstract in English of not more than 200 words.
• The references should be grouped at the end of the paper. We encourage citations with full list of Authors (see example in the pdf format with Editor's remarks). We recommend to use the BibTeX (download our BibTeX style file), see also the LaTeX example file (mrsej_LaTeX.zip). For references to the MRSej articles, we suggest the format

• An article is normally submitted as a single source file. All macros must be included with the source file and they are on the responsibility of the author (see Submission rules).
• Another unique feature of the electronic medium is that figures and diagrams can use color, sounds and animation, when that is appropriate, at no extra (monetary) cost. Articles may have Separated Appendixes in computer readable format, for instance color versions of the figures, extensive tabular material, raw experimental results, computer programs, computer files with animation and sounds. It may be more time consuming for readers to download and view Separated Appendixes, thereby allowing readers to download one or the other, as they wish.

As exception articles may be submitted in Microsoft Word (MSWord for Windows) format. Graphics (in appropriate quality, 300 dpi and better) should be included into manus­cript (seeMSWord_example.doc and its pdf version). The graphic files in JPEG (JPG), GIF, TIFF, BMP, or EPS format may be sent as separate files. Authors who intend to submit a manus­cript in a different format should consult the Executive Editor (Editor@ksu.ru) before submission. 
The layout of the paper body is determined by the MRSej editors. We strictly recommend to use the Word template and corresponding styles determined in the Word example file (seeMSWord_example.doc). There are also short recommendations to authors "how to use MSWord for the MRSej manus­cripts" (Short_Instruction.doc and/or Short_Instruction.pdf), the last file is also available in Russian (Short_Instruction_rus.doc). Their use during preparation of manus­cripts is strictly encouraged.

• Authors should note that the base font size is 11 point.
• Please avoid use of elements which depend on another base font size. Avoid one after another blank (Space - long key), or one after another tabulation (Tab - key), or three and more carriage returns (Enter - key). Note that all superfluous BLANKS, RETURNS, TABULAIONS will be automatically removed from your document BEFORE reading. As a general rule less formatting is better.
• Articles must include an Abstract in English of not more than 200 words.
• Your paper will be printed both in A4 format (29.8cm x 21.0cm) and in Legal format (27.9 x 21.6cm), so do not make the pages too wide or too tall.
• The references should be grouped at the end of the paper. We encourage citations with full list of Authors. The examples may be found in MSWord_example.doc and its pdf version. For references tothe MRSej articles, we suggest the format

• Standard true type fonts (strongly recommended size 11 pts) should be used by MSWord users, for example :
  • for IBM version - Times New Roman for main text + MTextra + Arial + Helvetica + Symbol
  • for Macintosh version - Times for main text + MText + Helvetica + Symbol
• Avoid to use other fonts than listed above (see MSWord_example.doc and Short_Instruction.doc). We recommend to replace text, figures and etc. in MSWord_example.doc by own ones and to use the MRSej styles, which are begin with "_MRSej" ("_MRSej_Title", "_MRSej_Authors", "_MRSej_Address", "_MRSej_PACS", "_MRSej_Section", "_MRSe_Text_Main",  " _MRSej_TextNonIndent", "_MRSej_Eq", etc.) from this example document for right format of corresponding lines and paragraphs in your manus­cript.
• Equation Editor or MathType are strongly recomended for ALL equations and ALL maths (note, that digits, text, functions, chemical elements are plain, symbols and variables are italic, vectors and matrices are bold).
