The modern economic system includes enterprises of various sectoral orientation: transportation, automotive, oil refining, chemical industry; financial and credit organizations. Under these conditions, the Faculty of Economics and Management of Elabuga Institute of KFU sets the task of providing large, medium and small businesses with new-generation specialists in management, economics and finance. Besides, the faculty is engaged in training leaders of educational organizations.

The Faculty of Economics and Management began its work at Elabuga Institute of Kazan Federal University in 2011.

Today the faculty implements educational activities in the following programs:

Bachelor programs:

38.03.01 – Economics (profile "Accounting, analysis and audit")

38.03.02 – Management (profile “Logistics”)

44.03.04 – Professional training (by industry) (profile “Economics and Management”)

Master programs:

44.04.01 – Teacher education (profile "Management of educational organization”)

In 2019, the faculty begins training in part-time form in the direction of 38.03.01 Economics (General profile), which allows students to combine work and study.

In the process of teaching at the faculty, modern educational technologies are used (case method, gamification method, online courses, flipped classroom method), which allows preparing graduates who are in demand on the labor market.

Students of the Faculty of Economics and Management undergo practical training and internships at such enterprises as SEZ ALABUGA JSC, FORD SOLLERS ELABUGA, Rockwool-Volga LLC, KASTAMONU INTEGREDITED WOOD INDUSTRY LLC, the Federal Tax Service, and many others, which results in their employment at these enterprises after graduation.
