Recognition of diplomas and degree certificates

Regardless of length of your stay in the Russian Federation and type of your labour contract, it is mandatory that you perform legalization of your diplomas and degree certificates. You should complete legalization procedures according to the law of a country that issued those documents before you arrive to the Russian Federation. In the majority of countries the apostille is used for verification of documents.

You have to provide the legalized documents together with the copy of your passport for further nostrification procedures (recognition of equivalence) here at KFU. If your documents are originally issued in English or in German, you do not need to translate them. In all other cases please provide certified translations of your documents into Russian or into English together with the originals.

Please submit us your documents in advance as these procedures take about two weeks.

In order to save time you can send us the scan copies of your documents (with translations if needed) for preliminary evaluation. In this case you will still have to bring the legalized originals with you to Kazan.
