Hackathon Imagine Cup is the contest supported by Microsoft company which took place in the  IT-Park of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Imagine Cup is the world largest annual technological resource supported by Microsoft. It has been gathering students from all over the world since 2003. This year Hackathon was organized in Kazan and it has gathered the record number of participants, 233 people. Currently, it appears to be one of the most popular events in Russia.

The aim of the participant was to create a new idea in the field of IT's and realize it.

As a result, the project made by students from the Higher School of Information Technologies and Information Systems was considered to be the best one. KFU students have presented the prototype of three dimensional computer game Coobe.  

Besides that, it is worth mentioning, that this year all of the three prizes went to the students of the Higher Institute of Information Technologies and Information Systems.
