KFU professors at BERA conference in Great Britain

On September 25, 2014 education professors of Kazan Federal University participated in one of the major world conferences – BERA, organized by the British Educational Research Association. The annual forum gathered over 900 scholars mostly from top 100 universities of the QS University Rankings for education.

The fact that BERA organizers got interested in the Russian participants and allowed 1.5-hour session “Education Research in Russia” made the event even more important. The session was co-chaired by Professor Nick Rushby, the editor of British Journal of Educational Technology, and KFU Professor Rosa Valeeva. The reports of KFU experts sparked the interest of the conference participants to Russian education research that had not been represented at BERA ever before.

The scientific contacts made at the event open new opportunities to Kazan University, that is in particular, a perspective to introduce education research results that will contribute to the KFU promotion in world university rankings.
