Dr. Rawil Fakhrullin attented International Symposium on Molecular Architecture which was hosted by Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (КАIST) in Daejeon (Republic of Korea) in the beginning of June.

Built in 1960-s Daejeon is a city of science and high technologies, home for all leading scientific Korean institutes.

KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) is an advanced research and educational institute in the Republic of Korea. It was founded in 1971. KAIST was established as the first national technical graduate school. It is a member of LAOTSE, other well-known Asiatic and international organizations. KAIST has made significant contribution to the powerful and dynamic economic development of Republic of Korea, conducting serious research in conjunction with both government agencies and major corporations of the country and abroad.

KAIST constantly invites experts from abroad to give lectures and participate in scientific activities. International Symposium on Molecular Architecture was attended by scientists from China, Korea, Denmark . Dr. Fakhrullin delivered the lecture "Magnetic "armored "micro-organisms: a new approach to the delivery of cells and biosensors”

Rawil Fakhrullin was invited to take part in organizing an international conference on cell bio encapsulation. In the end of May he announced two works: the popular lecture «Клетки под шубой» (http://www.gazeta.ru/science/2012/05/29_a_4605565.shtml) was published in the online edition of "Gazeta.ru" In addition, the portal of nanotechnology (http://www.nanowerk.com/spotlight/spotid=25399.php) released announcement of the article «Functionalizing living cells through nanotechnology » by Ravil Fakhrullin and Yuri Lvov (Technical University of Louisiana, USA) in the highly-ranked ACS Nano journal (http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/nn301776y).

Rawil Fakhrullin is the youngest Doctor of Science in Kazan University. He received the title of Doctor of Sciences in microbiology when he was 30 years old.
