KFU took part in SAP Academic Conference EMEA

 Berlin has recently hosted the 19th SAP Academic Conference EMEA. It is the annual conference for member faculty from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The event brings together leading professors and experts to discuss new topics in teaching and research with SAP software in universities and higher educational institutions. It provides a tremendous opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences with colleagues and partners as well as enables you to form networking contacts for future curricula and research development.

This year professors of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance represented Kazan Federal University.

The Conference plenary sessions offered a wide range of reports in the following areas - UA SAP education and educational programmes, UA SAP application development and startups, SAP recruitment and ecosystem development. Many researches of European participants focused on Big Data processing in different areas of economics and social life. Thus, the work of Prof. Dr. Christof Schütte and Dr. Tim Conrad from Freie Universität Berlin "Math and Big Data in Medical Diagnostics" and the research of Prof. Dr. Alexander Maedche and Dr. Norbert Koppenhagen from the University of Mannheim "SAP UA Big Data Innovation Center and Innovation Lab" aroused much interest of the attendees.

The team of our university participated in SAP Business One session devoted to the development of ERP systems for mid and small businesses.
