On September 15, the 6th World University Boxing Championship closed in Yakutsk. The Championship was held under the auspices of the International University Sports Federation (FISU). Anton Zaytsev, the student of the KFU Institute of Physical Education and Sport, performed in the Russian national team.

Anton Zaytsev competed in the up to 91 kg weight category. He passed to the finals where unfortunately was defeated by Mirzabek Khasanov from Uzbekistan. Thus, the student of Kazan Federal University won the bronze medal of the World University Championship.
