May 21: Mark Lipovetsky, an expat literary critic teaching at Colorado State University, held a workshop on the public role of present-day intellectuals. Prof. Lipovetsky spoke about the evolution of his views on engineering and office staff as related to the public manifestation of their ideas, touching on comparisons with the Perestroika times and the role of Internet in the process.
