Signing the cooperation agreement between KFU and South Moravian Centre for International Mobility (JCMM)

The document was signed on June, 18 in the International Linguistic Center of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of KFU.

 On June, 16 the delegation of Czech Republic headed by Governor of the South Moravian Region Michal Hašek met with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. This meeting was also attended by KFU Rector Ilshat Gafurov. During that meeting President in his address to honored guests reminded that Tatarstan was included in 6 regions officially confirmed by the Government of Czech Republic as priority ones for cooperation. Mr. Hašek, in his turn, mentioned that South Moravian region had abundant ties with Russia and was ready for deeper cooperation between Czech and Tatarstan universities. On that day there was discussed a topic concerning opening the Center for Learning the Czech Language.

The first step in realization of this program was made on June, 18. After visiting the laboratory complex of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of KFU, the delegates arrived at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication. The agreement was signed at very that place. KFU Rector Ilshat Gafurov and Director of and South Moravian Centre for International Mobility Miloš Šifalda signed the document.

The subject of the agreement is teaching students the Czech language as well as their acquaintance with its culture and Czech history.  According to this document KFU is obliged to provide classrooms while South Moravian Centre for International Mobility lectures. According to the agreement for students training will be free of charge.
