KFU and Damko Rus become strategic partners

KFU signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with Damko Rus, a company within A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. 

The signatures were exchanged between Vice Rector Danis Nurgaliev and Sales Director of Eastern European Office Ilya Bashmakov.

Damko Rus is one of the world leaders in providing services of freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain management. The company is operating in more than 110 countries and provides global geographic coverage for its customers. A.P. Moller - Maersk Group is in the list of the 500 largest companies in the world, according to Forbes.

Memorandum of Cooperation with KFU was signed for the period of three years. On the basis of the signed document Damko and the University become strategic partners in the creation and implementation of joint educational programs based on the experience of AP Moller - Maersk Group in international freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain management.

Under these programs, the company will provide the most appropriate solutions, including participation in workshops and training of students. It also assumes cooperation between the parties to establish joint training laboratories and centers of excellence.
